Miryam Doty

Miryam works primarily with wet mediums such as oils, acrylics, and gouache specializing in portraiture and still life.

During her career as an artist, she has exhibited work in Trenton’s Selects Exhibition, been featured on an art box subscription cover, painted over 50 commissions, created over 200 paintings, and has designed book covers for clients.

She continues to strive for excellence in the fine arts world, while encouraging others to pursue their passions in the creative field.

Her goal is to not only inspire people through her paintings, but also inspire them through creating. She believes all art forms are a powerful tool for the soul and mind, and one should never give them up. She WILL NEVER discourage someone from creating, as she knows the power in positivity and guidance. She is a kind, patient, and helpful instructor, with her experience and knowledge, you can be sure to create a work that you are proud of! The lessons she teaches can be used/practiced on their own, without screen time.
